Conclusions

• Hemodynamic instability in sepsis is multi- factorial

• Starch products should be avoided

• Sepsis induced immunoparalysis may result in severe opportunistic infections

• Immunoparalysis may be reversed with IFN-γ, GM-CSF and IL-7
