Sew-ology Gazette September 2016
Dear Material Girl, Kids are back to school, vacations are winding down. Fall is around the corner! Time to get back to your
sewing room. We have focused our classes this month to get you ready for the holiday (Halloween and Christmas)
sewing season. We will have a holiday open house on 9/16 and 9/17. More details will come very soon in your email.
If you are ready to learn how to quilt, Beginner Quilting returns this month for our 8 weeks intensive course for
learning to quilt start to finish. The popular Edge to Edge Quilting with your embroidery machine will be taught at the
end of the month. This class is a great way to learn how to use your embroidery machine to quilt that pile of quilt tops
you have in the corner of your room. Then you can hang with Januari as she show you how to finish those quilted
tops with 3 binding techniques that don’t require any HAND work.
We have lots of machine embroidery classes to choose from this month. We have two new clubs beginning
this month, the School of Embroidery and the Hoop Envy Club. Just a note, the machine embroidery classes are
open to all brands of embroidery machines. Cameo Club features a holiday coaster project and lots of choices for
other pieced projects.
Thank you for your continued support and keep on sewing,
Amy, Robin, and Mike
