IV. Prophecy is highly regarded by God

1. There are about 165,000 words in our English Bible devoted to predictive prophecy.

2. There are 8,362 verses of prophecy in the Bible!

a. That’s more than the entire NT (7,957)

b. That’s 27 percent of the 31,124 verses in scripture

3. 71 bible chapters have 51% or more prophecy

4. 19 of the 66 books of the Bible are prophecy - Over 25 %

5. The OT has 109 prophecies about the first coming of Jesus. The chance of all these prophecies being fulfilled in the life of one man is one in 84 followed by 131 zeros!

C. Reshape the nations in prophecy: Libya (Ezek. 38:5), Syria and Iraq (Rev. 13:2)

1. What religious system has an eternal hated of Israel? (Rev. 12:13)

2. What religious system believes Christians should be killed for believing Jesus?

3. What religious system beheads infidels? (Rev. 20:4)

4. What religious system currently surrounds the State of Israel? (Zech. 12:2)

5. What religion did Satan use to capture the holy Temple Mount?

6. What religious system is also political that could mount an army of nations with nuclear weapons? 7. What religious system has a system of law (Sharia) to make men wear a mark of allegiance to bow down and worship or be killed? (Similar to ISIS)

It begins when Israel, Palestine and Antichrist sign a Peace Treaty – Dan. 9:27

God sees this act as a formal rejection of His Word regarding His promised land Are we getting close to the Tribulation? YES Could we be in the Tribulation now? NO

6. The Purpose and Length of the Millennium

A. Beyond the tumultuous times of today lays the promise of a transformed world of peace and plenty in the age of Christ's glorious reign on the earth!

B. The Millennial Reign of Christ follows the 7-Year Tribulation

It begins with the glorious inauguration ceremony revealed to Daniel (Dan. 7:13-14)

C. The Millennium is the largest topic in all of Bible Prophecy because it is the pinnacle of God’s plans for this earth and for the glorification of the Son of God.

D. There are 225 prophecies about the Millennium - Isa. 60-66; Jer. 30-33; Ezekiel 40-48

E. The earth will be repopulated by born-again, Tribulation survivors and the redeemed remnant of Israel, including the 144,000 Jewish evangelists. These will enter the Millennium in their natural bodies and live throughout the Millennium.

F. The curse will be lifted and Satan will be bound for 1000 years (Rev. 20:2). Peace will prevail as Jesus sits on the Throne of David and rules over the house of Israel

G. Jesus will rule the nations with a “rod of iron” (Rev. 12:5), all military’s will be outlawed (Isa. 2:4) and justice and righteousness will prevail in every corner of the earth.

H. Jerusalem will be the capitol of earth (Zech. 14) and King Jesus will rule from the new Millennial Temple on the elevated plateau of Jerusalem (Ezek. 40 – 48).

7. The Eternal City – New Jerusalem

A. This is when a truly astounding part of God's plan comes to pass! B. At the end of the Millennium, God will destroy the present universe including heaven and earth (2 Pet. 3:10-11; Rev. 20:11; 21:1) C. God promises to make a glorious new heaven and new earth which will be the eternal home of the saints of all ages

D. Our new home is a magnificent city called New Jerusalem E. The dazzling city is described in 24 verses in Revelation 21:9 – 22:4 F. The city is enormous - 15,000 miles long, wide and high – Rev. 21:16 G. There will be no sun or moon, no temple and no sin for God Almighty and the Lamb will be the Light and the Temple in it (Rev. 21:22-23) H. This is our eternal home!
