FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
I am pleased to announce the assignment of our new parochial vicar. Fr. Wenceslaus Rodrigues was ordained on April 7, 1991 for the Diocese of Lucknow, India. After serving in various capacities; vice-principal, principal and parish priest, in 2000, he came to New York to do further studies. He obtained an M.A. in pastoral and Family counseling in 2004 from Fordham University, Bronx. In the meantime, he served as a parochial vicar in St. Matthew and St. Stanislaus Kostka parishes in Hastings-On-Hudson. In 2005, he was transferred to Sacred Heart Church, Hartsdale. He remained there until September, 2016. On October 1, 2016, he was appointed as the parochial vicar of the parishes in Beacon. In 2014, he applied for the incardination into the Archdiocese of New York. Currently, he is in the process of Incardination. Bound to be blessed by Father’s ministry here at Holy Child, I am sure we will welcome him warmly.
