Welcome to Bethany of Fox Valley UMC! We are glad to have you with us in worship today! Please fill out and tear off the attendance/

guest card during the “Tear-able Moment”.

Events 1. Great Agers will start meeting again on Friday, September 13, at 11:30am in Bethany’s Fellowship Hall. Bring a dish to share and your own table service. The main dish and beverage will be provided. Following lunch, Marilee Foltz and Becky Tatar, two area musicians, will be singing some golden oldees for us. We hope to see everyone after the long summer break. If you have questions, please contact Judy Buchenot at 630-820-0095.

2. Sunday School for children in grades kindergarten - 12th grade starts today. Come learn about God and your role in God's world! 3. Bethany’s Church Council will meet on Thursday, September 12 at 7pm. All Bethany members are welcome to attend.

4. Bethany is still seeking applicants for the part-time position of Accompanist. A full job description is available upon request. Interested applicants should contact Amy Underwood, BFVUMC Staff-Parish Relations Committee Co-chair, at [email protected] or contact the church office at 630-851-8010 for more information.

5. Bethany’s Children’s Choir will resume rehearsals on Sunday, September 15 right after Sunday School (so from 11:15-11:30am).

6. Bethany’s Bell Choir will begin rehearsals on Monday, September 9 at 7pm in the Sanctuary. Bell Choir performs once a month during worship services. We can always use more hands!

7. Bethany is a busy place! And much like each of us in our daily lives, there are many events here at the church that you won’t want to miss! Here’s a list of many of the upcoming special events—mark them down on your calendar! September
