Certification granted upon successful completion of the examination: Certification is valid for a period of two years.
ProfileService engineers required to service and support FT-IR analyzer systems after the initial commissioning. Capable of performing standard FTLA commissioning.
Pre-requisitesService background in instrumentation or similar expertise. Have a significant experience with ABB FT-IR analyzers.
Main skills• UnderstandtheprinciplesandconceptsofFTIRtechnology.• CapableofidentifyingthevariousmodelsofABBFTIRspec-trometer platforms and the related accessories.• PerformFTLAIQ/OQvalidationanddiagnostics.• UnderstandthebasisofthePartialLeastSquare(PLS)tech-nique used for calibrating instruments.• UnderstandtheoperationandbasicconfigurationofFTSW100 process software.• AbletoImport/ExportaFTSW100Configuration(XMLfile).• Updateanalyzerswithnewmodelsand/orcalibrationfiles.• Abletoacquirecalibrationdevelopmentdataandreportingitcorrectly to the application specialist.• Performpreventivemaintenanceandserviceonthemainmodules of all FT-IR analyzers.• Troubleshootandcorrectlyreportproblemstothefactoryusing the standard tools and software.
