3.2 water ConneCtionthe machines must be operated with potable water.for water with an extremely high mineral content an external demineralisation is strongly recommended. Ideal conductivity value for washware made of stainless steel 80 μS/cm, for glasses 100 µS/cm and for dishes 200 to 400 μS/cm
machines without softener: themachineshouldbeconnectedtosoftandifpossiblewarmwater(upto3°dh=0.5mmol/l,max. 60°C).
machines with softener: themachineshouldbeconnectedtowarmwaterifpossible(max. 60°C).softenerhastobeadjustedaccordingtowaterhardness.
Line flow pressure 0.5 – 10 bar. important: the line flow pressure must not be less than 0.5 bar.If the line flow pressure is above 10 bars provide pressure reducer at source.

How respectively where to measure?Usecleantea-cuporbeakerforsamplingwater.
takemeasurementofthetotalwaterhardness(°dh)atthetapwherethemachineisconnectedto.Measure the conductivity (μS/cm) at the tap where the machine is connected to.Measurethehardnessofthewaterinthebooster.Therefore, the booster drain hose is to be used. Discard the first cup of water to ensure that no residuals from the hose falsifies the measured value.Measuretheconductivityoftheboosterwater.
