Setting up your iQ4

1 First up, let’s check you’ve got all the goods

2 Connect your iQ4 to your TV

Make sure your TV (and existing Foxtel box, if you have one) is turned off at the wall.

4 Connect your iQ4 to the internet

5 Tune your free-to-air channels

– Important: If you have existing cables, please make sure you replace them with the new versions provided in this kit.

– Connect your iQ4 to your TV using the cables provided in this kit (refer to diagram).

– Once you’re connected, turn your TV back on and select the HDMI source you’ve connected to.

– You will see a black screen for a couple of minutes, then just follow the prompts.

– If connecting through an amp or sound system you will need an additional 4K compatible HDMI cable to access 4K content.

– Once your new iQ4 is setup and turned on, insert the batteries into your remote whilst pointing it at the iQ4 – this will automatically pair. For more information, visit foxtel.com.au/remotepairing

To receive your free-to-air channels* from your TV aerial, check you’ve connected your iQ4 to your aerial wall plate (as shown above), then:

Select Home, arrow left and select the Settings icon

Select Home, arrow left and select the Settings icon

Select WiFi.

Select Full Scan.

Select Internet Connection.

Select Terrestrial Channels.

Select your network.

Select Begin Scan.

Enter your WiFi password, select Done and you will be advised once connected.

Once the scan is complete select View TV Guide.
