2. Risk – Sacred Space Kingston

“Welcome to Sacred Space Kingston! This is the collective vision of a number of local people. They have come together to show through art, community and the re-imagining of ancient spiritual practices an alternative way to live, one that Jesus modelled. There are a number of different aspects to our work.”

4. Ambiguity – The Table

The Table is St John's new congregation

led by Idina Dunmore and the ministry team.

It's an informal Jesus-centered worship

gathering with stories, prayer, music and food.

The Table happens once a month in the

Parish Centre hall. Everyone is welcome.

5. Agency – Maison Shalom

Maison Shalom was born on the

24th of October 1993, in the middle

of the atrocities of the Burundian

civil war, to turn on the light brought

by forgiveness, and to create a new

generation, capable of breaking the

cycle of violence.

Discussion Questions

1. With which one of these behaviours so you resonate most and why?

2. Do you agree that the church can learn from the world, as with the Greta Thunberg example?

3. How might witness be creative in your own context?
