Community Resources FITNESS CENTER MEMBERSHIP The Community Center Fitness Room is open to Seymour Resi- dents and Senior Center Members. It is located in the Seymour Community Center and includes two treadmills, rowing machine, stationary bike, an all-in-one gym, dumbells, and body bars. Membership Cost: FREE Days & Times: Mon – Thurs, 8 am – 4:30 pm, Fri — 8:00 am – 12 pm POOL MEMBERSHIP Seymour High School Pool is open for swimming, exercise and fun on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. Community Resources

FITNESS CENTER MEMBERSHIP

Masters Swim Club

Master’s Swim Club is for anyone 18+ who wants to swim with

others. All levels are welcome. Workouts will be coached Mon &

Wed. Thurs workout will be posted. Membership included.

Swim Lessons

Keep your child safe in the water. Mommy & Me, Pre-K, Begin-

Water Exercise Classes

Aquatic Fitness uses the natural resistance of water to provide a

wide variety of conditioning activity. Swimming not required

Chair Yoga adapts yoga positions and poses

through creative use of a chair.

Qigong is a gentle exercise composed of move-

ments that are repeated a number of times,

stretching the body, increasing fluid movement & building

awareness of how the body moves.

Tai Chi Easy includes steps & exercises that improve mobility,

breathing and relaxation. The movements don’t require deep

bending or squatting. Designed for all levels and abilities.

Zumba Dance takes the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-

intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-

burning dance fitness party.

Zumba GOLD Perfect for active older adults. The class intro-

duces easy-to-follow Zumba choreography that focuses on bal-

ance, range of motion and coordination.

Line Dancing This beginner line dance class will teach partici-

pants classic and fresh new country line dances.
