A few easy steps how to make your presentation a success!

How it works

After downloading, the Shakespeak tool automatically

integrates into PowerPoint

To add a multiple choice question to your presentation,

click ‘Add vote’

Voting

Next, you formulate your question and answer options

Three slides will be added to your presentation

automatically

Explanation slideInstructions for your audience how to send in their vote will be shown here

(when you start a session)

Vote slideShows the question, answer options

and instructions on how to vote

Results slideResults will be shown in a graph

You can keep the standard lay-out or adjust each vote slide to

your liking: change the font, size and colour

All lay-out changes can be made within PowerPoint - not

via the Shakespeak tab

You can adjust each results slide to your liking too: change

the colours of the bars

You can also add pictures to your slide

The ‘Add Message Slide’ button allows you to add a

slide on which your audience can send in a message

Posting

Formulate your open ended question to your audience

Two slides and the Moderator Panel will be added to your presentation automatically

Message slideApproved messages will

appear on this slide (including the instructions on

how to send in a message)

Moderator Panel (filter)Can be found in the Sendsteps tab

behind the button ‘Message moderator’. All incoming messages

will be collected here. From here you can send them to the screen (see

below)

Keep the standard lay-out or put the displayed messages in any design or picture of your liking – by reshaping the text boxes and paste these into a

picture of your choice

Your audience's responses will appear here. Please feel free to change the font, colour and etc. to your wishes. This will be remembered when starting a session.

Adjust the font colour and size. And what about the

background? You can easily add a background picture to

impress your audience!

All messages sent in by the audience will appear in the

Moderator Panel. From here, select messages and click ‘Put

messages on screen’.

Posting

Everything set? Click on ‘Start session’ to start your live

session and clearly instruct your audience how to

respond.

Now, the explanation how your audience can vote is

added to the slides.

Explanation slide On each vote slide (at the bottom)

Start your slide show and your audience can react via SMS,

Internet and/or Twitter

For more options (e.g. setting a voting timer) click on the

‘Options’ button when adding your vote or on the Moderator

Panel.
