SHAKESPEARE'S ITINERARY IN STRATFORD Stratford is Shakespeare's birthplace and it's the place where he spent a lot of time of his life. He also died here at the age of fifty-two, on 23 April 1616. This town was obviously different from today's for many reasons: the size, the smell, the noise and the general atmosphere. Here there are also many places of Shakespeare's life that you can visit. William was born in 1564 in a house that today is also visited by a lot of people. This house is in the centre of the town in Henley Street.
