DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY SHAPE Materials Needed : Ø Digital Camera Ø Access to a Student Computer Ø Digital CriAque Sheet Ø 6 photos (2 each) BEST SHAPE photos GEOMETRIC SHAPES ORGANIC SHAPES YOUR CHOICE SHAPES DirecAons : 1) Review the handout for “SHAPE” photos. 2) Brainstorm ideas for where to ﬁnd both organic and geometric shapes to be photographed. You will need to submit 6 photos. (having at least 18 SHAPE photographs for your Google folder) 3) Take a variety of photos that best represent each type of SHAPE listed below. Remember composiAon is important while you are composing each of your photos. You will turn in 6 photos (2 each): GEOMETRIC SHAPES ORGANIC SHAPES YOUR CHOICE SHAPES 4) AWer you have taken all of your “Shape” images, upload your photos to the your folder in the Class Google drive – your folder. 5) Create a Digital CriAque sheet. Refer to the direcAons already provided. 6) Remember to label each photo with which shape & shape type it is. (see examples to the right) 7) Save your Digital CriAque Sheet to your student folder. 8) Open Google classroom. 9) Go to the assignment and TURN IN your digital criAque sheet before the deadline. Shape: Two-dimensional (2-D) - length and width - circles, squares, rectangles, triangles (geometric) and odd (organic) shapes formed by a line that connects to itself and encloses a space. Posi4ve space is the inside of the shape. Nega4ve space is the empty area outside a shape.
