Rock N Rib Fest The annual Rock N Rib Fest held at the Union County Fair Grounds was so much fun! Thanks to Agape, kids were able to play on bouncy houses, get free snow cones, cotton candy, and faces painted. Although it was hot at times, there was a great turn out and so much fun to be had.

SHARING HOPE SUMMER 2018
Heroes of Hope Our first Heroes of Hope event was a huge success.
With help from Leon’s and Meijer we were able to provide a delicious luncheon for the first responders in our community on Thursday May 24th, 2018. Thank you to all of our Heroes who came and for all that each and every one of you do!
Fashion for Hope This year’s first annual fashion show in April highlighted our newly renovated clothing ministry Restored 61. It turned out to be such a fun and memorable fundraiser. In total there were 39 models ages 18 months on up wearing fashions from local boutiques as well as ReStored 61 clothing. Special guest, Cookin’ with Kibby, put out a teaser the month prior to the event asking viewers to pick the outfit he should wear on the runway. This is the outfit that won and came solely from ReStored 61. In addition, Highpoint Career Center provided all the hair and makeup services to the models. We’re certainly looking forward to this again next year!
A big thanks to our graphic designer Steven Fisher for all of our new signs and logos!

The third annual motorcycle Ride for Hope on May 12th had such a big turnout. It was a successful fundraiser on a beautiful day!
What a fun and unique way to raise money for the Hope Center. We hope you will join us next year!

The Hope Center is being blessed by the Ohio Balloon Festival this year! All proceeds from the ZZ Top Concert, August 9th, will benefit the Hope Center. With this being said, we have been asked to bring in 30 volunteers for the Balloon Festival August 10th and 30 volunteers for August 11th located at the Union County airport. Let us know if you would like to help out!

Hope Legal Clinic Hope Legal Clinic is available by appointment only on the first Tuesday of each month. Call and make an EAP appointment to schedule.
The Community Kitchen serves free meals to anyone that comes to us, no questions asked. Our goal is that no one in Union County goes hungry, by serving good, nutritious meals in a safe, comfortable environment. We need to involve more volunteers, so we can continue to serve our neighbors and friends in Union County.
The newly remodeled Clothing Ministry is ready to serve families with new and gently used clothing, baby items and accessories with dignity, great customer service and life-‐giving exchange of resources to meet ends. The store is staffed entirely with volunteers. Volunteers are needed to manage donations, sort and prepare clothing for the store. Opportunities to volunteer are available Monday through Saturday. Please contact the Hope Center at 937-‐303-‐4209 Ext. 705 for more information.
Our purpose is to extend help to the people of Union County who have household needs whether from a temporary situation such as a fire or natural disaster or from long-‐term financial distress. We offer living room, dining room, bedroom, and kitchen furniture, appliances, and accessories. It is our hope that the community will donate their used furniture and businesses will donate returned, discontinued, or (minimally) damaged items for us to dispense to those in need.
