The University of Central Florida

• The University of Central Florida does more than teach you in the classroom – they encourage students to take the skills they’ve learned and apply them to the community. In one project, I teamed up with fellow students to help raise money for Devereux Florida. We raised $1,400 and awareness for Devereux. Our effort were recognized by UCF – we won the UCF Cornerstone Social Entrepreneurship Competition.

Chatter Buzz Media

• Chatter Buzz Media is a social media, web design, and public relations firm located in downtown Orlando. At only three months old, the company has made a name for itself: Winning ‘Social Media Madness – Small Business Orlando, 2012 Best of the Web Award, and nominated for the Orlando Business Journals ‘40 under 40’ award.

• The Orlando Young Professionals (OYP) provides young professionals with unparalleled opportunities to access community leaders and for professional development. As a member, I attend volunteering, networking, and learning events. As the social media manager, I promote these events through several social media sites.

• EpcotLegacy.com is a website that is dedicated to the history, heritage, and future of Epcot, at Walt Disney World. As the content editor, I assist the websites creator is editing and polishing their content.

• The world of marketing is ever changing. With the emergence of social media, a new world of possibilities for marketing has emerged. Social media is more than just interacting with friends – it is a platform for companies to interact with their customers in real time.

• There is so much more to social media marketing than Facebook and Twitter. I utilize many other sites to promote my companies activities, blogs, and important stories. These sites are then promoted through platforms such as: Reddit, digg, Stumpleupon, Posterous, and Del.icio.us.
