DOLLFACECamera Mise en Scene Editing SoundThere’s a close up shot of the woman’s husband, this shows that he was brutally murdered for the film.

The woman in the film has white face paint on which gives her a ghost look but then one white eye which makes her look like a zombie.

There was low key lighting which is typical in a horror film as it was dark.

There’s non diegetic sound which is used whenever dollface appears that is used as a character theme for the audience.

The film ends with a close up of dollface smiling to the woman, this gives the audience the idea that she is now about to be killed by dollface.

Tape recorder is used to lure the wife.

There was a jumpcut used when the women locked up finds the wife.

The film uses diegetic sound for example the door bell and the noise of the door when it opens.

There’s an establishing shot of the wife when another woman appears, this woman is locked up, this shot provides a quick jump scare to the audience.

The house had lots of furniture which made it hard to move around for the wife.

The character theme of dollface is very ambiguous which makes it contrapuntal sound.
