Therapy and Rehabilitation Services

Grinnell Health Care Center o�ers a full-time in-house therapy and rehabilitation team. We provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Our goal is to assist each individual to achieve their highest possible level of function and independence.

Long-Term Care

At Grinnell we strive to provide our long term care residents with the comforts of a warm, secure, and caring environment. We set goals and take a proac-tive approach to the care of our residents. �is includes working along side personal physicians and other care professionals to maintain the overall health and well being of each individual. Grinnell’s therapists are also there to focus on occupational, physical and speech levels for those resident’s in need.

Long-term residents enjoy many social opportunities such as exercise classes, bingo, cra�s, a�ernoon teas, cards, and live piano music. �ere is also an on-premise beauty salon available to keep our residents looking their best. Our primary focus is for our residents to continue to participate in activities and enjoy an enriched and ful�lled life.

Short-Term Rehabilitation

At Grinnell, our team bridges the gap between hospital stays and full recovery at home. Our goal is to return each patient to their regular pace of life both quickly and safely. And, together we not only work to restore function and mobility, but are also there to manage pain and achieve the best possible outcome.
