Hotel Majoro – An oasis in the desert.
Hotel Majoro, a boutique hotel located at the countryside near the
Nasca airport, was originally an Augustine Convent in the 19th
Century. At the beginning of the 20th Century the old convent was
remodelled into a Casa Hacienda and later restored and modern-
ised whilst preserving its originality.
Each of the hotel’s 88 rooms (double, triple, quadruple, suites) is
decorated differently and has its own charm. In all rooms you will
fi nd different art works such as original paintings from well-known
Peruvian artists, old woven tapestries or pre-Columbian textiles.
At Hotel Majoro, guests will spend unforgettable and relaxing
moments surrounded by 30 hectares of nature. Besides a restau-
rant, a bar and four sitting rooms, the hotel has a Tara plantation
(a Peruvian plant cultivated as a source of tannins), a Pisco cellar,
a planetarium and a very large collection of Peruvian art work.
