The following article was written by the President of the ISC, Shehzad Lokhandwalla.

Shehzad is a international student from India majoring in Computer Science:

Jing Si and Khusbhoo Patel, the officers of the International Students Club, have been

working really hard to manage the club and help international students. You might have

probably seen them volunteering at the International Students orientation, at the resource

fair table at the day of the orientation, or at the various club events. In spite of having a lot

of school work and other jobs, they still manage to put in their full effort to plan and or-

ganize events for the benefit of international students. The International Students Club was recently established with

an objective to help international students accommodate in the US and ease their transition into a new environment.

As of now the club has 340 members from various countries and is actively organizing events, like the Buddy Pro-

gram, San Francisco Thanksgiving Trip, Movie nights, cooking contest, socials, etc. Without the effort of these two

wonderful ladies, the club would not be what it is today.
