Greetings from the Archery Marshal in Charge, Welcome to Lilies War! On behalf of myself and my deputy, Lady Emeline de Moulineaux, I would like to personally invite you to come enjoy/participate in the wonderful activities happening each day on the Archery Range, 100 Arrow’s Range, Thrown Weapons Range, and the Children’s Archery Range. Archery Range will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day with a variety of fun shoots scheduled. Any time slot not designated by a fun shoot will be for open practice and archery help. With the extended hours this year it is my hope that more people will be able to take advantage of the range and come out to shoot. 100 Arrows Range will be open under the direction of Mistress Lynette, starting the first Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, closed from Noon-1 p.m. for lunch. The final Saturday is reserved for the 100 Arrows Finals. Make sure to get your 100 arrows in! You will want to be apart of the finals! This is the 20 th year anniversary of this shoot and the finals will be nothing less than spectacular! Thrown Weapons Range will be open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and closed from Noon-1 p.m. for lunch under the direction of her Ladyship Juliana Macnayre. Please remember that there are NO OPEN SHOES allowed on the Thrown weapons range. Children’s Range will be open for children to come learn how to shoot and improve their shooting skills Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and will remain open until noon on those days under the direction of his Lordship William Fletcher of Carbery. Please remember to accompany your child to the range and plan on being with them during the shoots.

*WAR POINT shoot are denoted with an asterisks (*) next to their title, these shoot will go toward the battle of all battles on the final Saturday.

Safety Notice: No Shooting or throwing can occur without the presence of an archer marshal on the range being used. Closed toed shoes or boots must be worn while on the thrown weapons range whether you are actively throwing or not When passing the thrown weapons range be sure to stay on the road ward side of the safety line. Do not walk across the thrown weapons range. There must be an authorized archery marshal or archery marshal-in-training attending the line when the range is in use. Any equipment used on the ranges must be inspected by an archery marshal or archery marshal-in-training.

Saturday 6/13

7:00 a.m. Sunrise Shoot (Lady Alessandra de Piro)Start your war off right with a fun, relaxing archery shoot! One of the few shoots that doesnt conflict with any other activities! The shoot will begin around 7 a.m. with a light breakfast for those participating.

*Dammos Rope Ring Shoot 9 a.m. (Master Dammo Utwiler)Smaller rings score higher. Bonus points for all arrows scoring and bonus points for all scoring arrows in different targets. War Point variant: Negative points for hitting your sides rings.

Linen Shoot 11 a.m. (Lordship Galen MacColmain)This shoot will be against a period bullseye target at 20, 30, and 40 yards. There will be three competing divisions. The divisions will be Unranked (anyone without an AoA level award for archery), Fyrd (or corresponding AoA level archery award from another kingdom), and Huscarl (or corresponding GoA level archery award from another kingdom). The top scoring archers in each divison will receive sufficient linen for one tunic or dress. There will be other prices awarded as well.

Head Shots 1 p.m. (Lord Rab the Piper)Who doesnt like shooting 3D heads on pikes!?!? Come out and enjoy this fast paced shoot. Each archer is suggested to bring 12 arrows for shooting. Will you be a head of the game?

Fun Shoot 3 p.m. TBD

Castle Window Shoot 5 p.m./After Court (Nia)Try your hand at shooting the opposing forces hiding within the castle windows!

Sunday 6/14

Dantes Inferno 9 a.m. (The Bees)Who knows what we will think of this time to shoot at! You will just have to come shoot to participate. Bee prepared to shoot all of the things and have fun doing it! The theme is Dantes Infero and the demons are attacking. Will they be victorious? Or will the angels continue to hold their ground.

3D Fun Shoot 11 a.m. (Lord Gobban Man Roibeaird)TBD

*Fyrdracca Shoot 4 p.m./After Court Have you ever wanted to shoot from a Viking longboat? Now you can! The Bee Hive Five, and the crew of the Fyrdraca, have joined forces once again this year to bring you this unique opportunity to do something exciting while raising funds for two worthy causes. The cost is $30 (cash only please), and the proceeds will be split evenly between the Fyrdraca Preservation fund and the Lilies Archery fund. The boat will take 15 archers per raiding party, on a maximum of four voyages. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served, basis. Participants must be 15 or older, be able to board the boat, and row if needed. Archers will shoot one round of six arrows in a single line from one side of the Fyrdraca towards life-sized, targets on the shore at the bottom of Wulfgars Hill. Bring arrows you dont mind potentially getting broken or lost. The scoring will be one point per hit inside the outline of the target.

Monday 6/15

The Quick and the Dead 9 a.m. (Countess Issabell Saint Charles and Lordship Rhodrick de Graham)A series of novelty shoots will determine the top archers in open handbow, Period handbow, and crossbow. These archers will then face off in a double elimination quick draw grinder.

Fitz-Rauf Triangle Based Shoot 1 p.m. (Lordship Eynon Llangenydd)This shoot will use the Fitz-Rauf triangle target that simulates shooting at a warrior on horseback. There may be some emellishments that enhance the risk/reward nature of shooting at this target.

*Wand Style Shoot 1 p.m. (Baron Soren ate Raven)Paper targets with narrow, wand style targets in various patterns and configurations. There will be several colors involved representing different point values. Should be a fun and challenging shoot!

Bee Shoot 5 p.m. (The Bees)Who knows what we will think of this time to shoot at! You will just have to come shoot to participate. Bee prepared to shoot all of the things and have fun doing it!

Tuesday 6/16

Ladies of the Rose Tournament 9 a.m. (Her Grace Magdalena Vander Meere and Lady Emeline de Moulineaux)To shoot for the honor of a rose is indeed a noble honor. Each Lady of the Rose may sponsor one (1) archer to compete for them in this double elimination style tournament that involves both accuracy and speed. If you are a Lady of the Rose without an archer, please come early and we will find you a noble archer. If you are an archer without a Lady of the Rose to shoot for, please come early and there will be a sign up to potentially shoot.

MIT Class Noon (Master Daniel Martel)This is a class for anyone wishing to begin their Marshal in Training for archery taught by the current Calontir Archer General, Master Daniel Martel.

Unranked Boga Tournament 2 p.m. (Sponsored by the Boga Fyrd)This shoot is stricktly for un-ranked archers, and is run by the Order of the Boga Fyrd. It is a fun shoot that provides opportunities for the Boga Fyrd to meet archers from all different corners of the Kingdom, while providing a showcase for unranked archers to demonstrate their prowess. All un-ranked archers are encouraged to come and participate!

Long-Distance Spear Throw 4 p.m.The archery main archery range will be closed during this time for use in a long-distance Spear Throw! Come out and get some practice in with spears.

Wednesday 6/17

Queens Yeoman Archers should be in attendance by 9 a.m. Come one, come all, to test your skill and your endurance at archery and thrown weapons to honor the Queen of Calontir! For Her honor you must show your skills with the Longbow (20 and 30 yard ranges), Ax, Knife, and Spear. Those showing both prowess with these weapons and honor on the field will be recognized by Her Royal Majesty as one of her Yeoman.

*Chair Shoot 3 p.m. (Lordship Galen MacColmain)The afternoon at Lilies is a time for relaxation with a cool mug of water. We still want to shoot though. This shoot will be held at 20ish yards. There will be three competing divisions. The divisions will be Unranked (Anyone without an AoA level award for archery), Fyrd (or corresponding AoA level archery award from another kingdom), and Huscarl (or corresponding GoA level archery award from another kingdom). All archers will be shooting from a seated position on a chair, bench, or stool. Fyrd or Huscarl ranked archers will be assigned their choice of handicap announced at the beginning of the shoot to add to the fun. Prizes of period seating will be awarded to the top scoring archers in each division.

Ferrara Ring Shoot 5 p.m. (Lord Halldr & Lord Rufus)The shoot will consist of six rings of various sizes ranging from about 13 inches in diameter to down to about 3 inches in diameter. 3 arrows/bolts per end. To advance to the next end one of your arrows/bolts must be within the ring.

Archery Potluck 7 p.m.Bring some food to share as we gather around to relax and enjoy each others company.

Thursday 6/18

IKAC 9 a.m.We will be running a standard IKAC. Come see how your skills rank amongst the archers. IKAC rules will be posted at the archery range and announced before the shoot.

Pin Shoot 11 a.m. (Lord Halldr & Lord Rufus)This exciting head to head double elimination tournament features a 5-inch roundel with a center pin (the size of a golf tee). Each archer will get three arrows/bolts with the archer closest to the pin advancing. In case of ties there will be a 1-arrow shoot off.

Period Equipment Shoot 2 p.m. (Master Leif of Crescent Moon)Show off your period expertise and equipment with this period challenge. No fiberglass. Arrows must be self/period knocks. No brass knocking points. If you have a questions concerning whether or not your archery equipment will be allowed, please talk with Master Lief of Crescent Moon. The purpose of this shoot is to have as close to a period archery experience as possible!

Fun Shoot 9 a.m. (Lord Steaffan Shaw)TBD

Things on Strings 11 a.m. (Baron Soren Atte Raven)Things on Strings is a series of 3D targets hanging from a wooden frame. The targets are various sizes and shapes with non-scoring, lower scoring, and higher scoring areas clearly marked by colors. Some are fairly stable, some move around, and some rotate! Its an especially fun shoot on a windy day.

Fyrd Captain Challenge 1 p.m. (Lordship Takahara Otoshi)This tourney is held to decide the next captain of the Boga Fyrd. It will be run by the current Fyrd Captain.

Saturday 6/19

100 Arrows Finals! 8:00 a.m. SHARP! (Mistress Lynette)Come to participate (if you made the finals) or to watch this historic tournament as we celebrate 20 years of the 100 Arrows! This will be something you wont want to miss.
