Section 2 – Recommendations/Comments

Inlet and outlet valves are 10 inches apart. The client was able to confirm there is a tube inside the reactor tank that brings top oil to the sampling valve. Inlet and outlet points are at least 10 feet apart which meets Calisto installation requirements. With the client assistance the Level 1, Level 2 alarms for all gases were configured.

Separation valves are found next to reactor valves which is not very practical. These had to be moved in a more useful position, next to the Calisto 9 inlet and outlet.

We recommend databank download every time an oil sampling is scheduled on the reactor. To download the databank, the following steps need to be followed: Calisto Manager:

1. Connect the laptop to the unit using the USB cable provided with the Calisto unit 2. Open Calisto Manager. If the unit is not available in the main page, follow the steps provided in the manual of Calisto Manager to add the unit. If the

connection is not successful, contact the Technical Support at [email protected]. Have ready the serial number of the unit. 3. If the unit is already in the main page, select it, under Calisto menu select the option ”History -> Data Bank download…”. The software will prompt

you to follow the right steps to download the file. 4. In order to better understand the behavior of the unit, the unit event history is necessary as well. Select the unit, under Calisto menu select the

option ”History -> Event Log…”. 5. Send both files to [email protected]
