SiteSupervisorJobDescription
ReportingtotheProjectManager,theSiteSupervisorwillberesponsibleformanaging
personnelandsystemstoachievetherequiredavailability,reliability,capabilityandcost
managementofthesite’splantandequipment.
AstheSiteSupervisor,youwill:
Managesdailysiteandproductionorganisationandsupervisioninlinewithcompany
policiesandprocedures;
Meetsalloccupationalhealthandsafetystandards;
Attendsandpro-activelycontributestotoolboxmeetings;
Ensuresallhousekeepingdutiesareundertakenbytheteam;
Attendsandcontributestoweeklysitesafetymeetingsincludingcompletionofany
proposedcorrectiveactions;
Ensurestheserviceperformedbythecompanyisofthehighestqualityachievable;
Ensuresallsitepersonnelemployedonsitearesuitablytrainedandassessedtocarryout
therequiredtask;
Ensuresthatallsub-contractorsworkwithintheAABGroupPolicyandProcedures,
quality,environmentalandplantmanagementplans;
Ensurestheaccuracyandtimelinessofdailyreportsonprojectprogress;
Reportsallincidents,accidentsandnearmissesimmediatelyandcompletestheincident
investigationswithassistancefromtheHealth,Safety,EnvironmentandTrainingadvisor;
Actstoensurethewelfareofthepersonnel,machineryandallcompanypropertyisoftop
priority;
MakesrecommendationsformobileplantimprovementsinaccordancewithAABGroup
continuousimprovementpolicy;
Performsallworkundertakentothestandardrequiredfortheproject,correctand
upgradeanywork,whichdoesnotmeetwiththerequiredstandardandalwayslookfor
continuousimprovement;

Liaisesandco-operateswithclientmanagementonsiteplanning,schedulingandmine
operations;
Liaiseswithclientandestablishaleadershippositionovertheoperation;
Communicatessiteperformanceandstrategiestoemployeestomeetsetobjectives;
Encouragesanddrivesemployeecontributionincontinuousimprovementprograms;
EstablishesKPI’sfordirectreportsalignedwiththeProjectStrategyandensurestheseare
cascadedthroughoutthefunction;
Providesclearleadershipanddirectionandpromotesandfostersaperformanceculture
consistentwithAABGroupvalues;
Providesregularperformancefeedbacktodirectreportsandcompletesannual
PerformanceAppraisals;
Providescoaching,mentoringanddevelopmentopportunitiesfordirectreportsand
buildsthecapabilityofbusinessunitpersonnel.
Otherrequirements:
Relevantandextensiveoperationalexperienceinaproductionenvironment;
Goodverbalandwrittencommunicationandpresentationskills;
Provensupervisoryexperience;
CertificateinG1–ApplyRiskManagementProcesses,G8ConductSafetyandHealth
InvestigationsandG9CommunicateInformationindesirable;
Soundcomputerskills–(Word,ExceladOutlook);
MustholdavalidC–Classlicence.
ThispositionisFIFOfromTownsvilleorCairnstotheprojectwithcampaccommodation
providedwhilstonsite.
