A MESSAGE FROM FATHER RICH
Many thanks to all those adults who helped with the Steubenville Youth Conference last weekend. What a power-ful weekend it was for our high school students.
I am taking a baseball trip and attending 10 stadiums in 10 days starting on Thursday of this week. Due to a change in flight schedule, I will celebrate Mass at 6:00 AM on
Thursday. Deacon Neal will have a Communion service at 6:30 AM on Friday. The next two weekends Fr. Tony, McGinn a Jesuit priest I met while at St. Norbert, will be celebrating the Masses. I thank Fr. Tony for this and please give him a warm welcome. Please pray for good weather for our picnic which is rapidly approaching. Have a great week.

This legislation will protect the health and safety of women, require unannounced inspections of abortion clinics, ensure that women hear medical information from a doctor before deciding wheth-er to obtain an abortion, overturn the St. Louis “abortion sanctuary” ordinance and prohibit other municipalities from passing similar ordinances, and much more. OUT AND ABOUT
DEACON NEAL’S REFLECTION CORNER
Last weekend, I had the privilege to attend the Steubenville Conference with the youth group from our parish. It was great to see about 3000 young adults experience the joy of being able to praise God in an atmosphere that allowed them to do so without any fear of ridicule. It's not easy for teenagers to live their Catholic faith.
We all need times in our lives that we can get away and spend some time with God. I want to thank the young people of our parish who took the time this past weekend to seek a closer relationship with Christ and his Church.
Please pray for them that they can keep what they learned alive in their hearts. Also, give them encouragement to live their faith. We need them and they need us to help them live their faith.
I’d also like to give thanks to all who supported their fundraisers this past year. May God bless you.
We are all one body in Christ. Let's keep supporting each other with our prayers and acts of kindness and sacrifice. That is what we are called to do as followers of Christ.
Amen
- Deacon Neal
