Hockey Schedule

Schedule changes may occur from time to time. For your convenience, we offer an online schedule. You can view the schedules by day, week or month and by category. Updates will be made regularly, so check the online schedule frequently.

Persons with a disability who require assistance to participate in Parks and Recreation programs may bring a personal support worker at no additional charge. Some exceptions may apply. Notification of fees will be identified in advance.

Skating and Recreational Hockey Admission Fees

Youth 1-18 Adult 19-59 Adult 60+

Skating $3.05 $3.05 $3.05

Recreational Hockey $4.70 $6.30 $4.70

Group Single Admission - 20 per cent discount applied to groups of 5 or more persons at point of admission

Recreational Hockey Admission and Supervision Criteria

10 years of age and under

• must be accompanied to the skate by a responsible person 14 years of age or older, who must maintain visual contact throughout the skate

• must show ID or student card at first visit

All Shinny participants

• games are non-contact• it is mandatory for all players to

wear a CSA approved helmet, shin pads and hockey gloves

• A hockey stick is also mandatory• it is recommended that full hockey

equipment be worn including neck and facial protection

Goalies • play for free• it is mandatory for all goalies to

wear a chest pad, goalie pads, a CSA approved helmet with a cage and have a blocker, trapper and hockey stick

• it is recommended that full hockey equipment be worn

Shinny 19+ and 40+

• limited to 24 players and four goalies, first come, first served

Shinny 8-12, 13-18, 55+Women 19+

• limited to 30 players and four goalies, first come, first served

Skating Admission and Supervision Criteria

6 years of age and under

• must wear a CSA-approved helmet• helmet with a face cage is

recommended

10 years of age and under

• must be accompanied to the skate by a responsible person 14 years or older who must maintain visual contact throughout the skate

• are encouraged to wear a CSA-approved helmet to maintain safety on the ice

Adults • are encouraged to wear a CSA-approved helmet to maintain safety on the ice

• must wear a helmet for all Sticks and Pucks programs

Individuals with serious medical conditions

• are at greater risk while skating• should be accompanied by another

individual knowledgeable about their condition(s) and able to offer support to the participant

Sticks and Pucks

• all ages must wear a CSA-approved helmet to maintain safety on the ice
