Skeletons in the Closet: Rockefeller History

In 1962, Nelson wrote, The Future of Federalism which

claims that current events demand a new world order.

He stated that there is: "A fever of nationalism...but the nation-state is

becoming less and less competent to perform its international political

tasks...These are some of the reasons pressing us to lead vigorously

toward the true building of a new world order...Sooner perhaps thanwe may realize...

directors to control Standard Oil and its affiliates, he had a near monopoly of the petroleum industry inthe United States. Rockefeller was also prominent in the affairs of railroads and banks, being second onlyto J. P. Morgan in the domain of finance.

When the United States Steel Corporation was formed (1901), Rockefeller was one of the directors. From1897 Rockefeller had turned his interests toward philanthropy. He funded the Baptist Church, the YMCA,

and to the Anti-Saloon League, and founded (1892) and endowed the University of Chicago, ultimatelygiving the school more than 80 million dollars. He endowed major philanthropic institutions, includingthe Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research, founded (1901) in New York City and since 1965 knownas Rockefeller University, the General Education Board (1902), organized (1902) to make gifts tovarious educational and research agencies; the Rockefeller Foundation (1913), established to promotepublic health and to further the medical, natural, and social sciences; and the Laura Spelman RockefellerMemorial Foundation (1918), named for his late wife. [6]

From the Rockefeller Foundation History 7, "... 1889 Rockefeller [made] the first of what would become$35 million in gifts, over a period of two decades, to found the University of Chicago. ... In 1903 hecreated the General Education Board at an ultimate cost of $129 million to promote education in theUnited States....Rockefeller was prepared to begin the Rockefeller Foundation in 1909, even signing a

deed of trust to turn over 72,569 shares of Standard Oil of New Jersey stock worth $50 million. Butdelays and difficulties in seeking a federal charter for the Foundation, ... resulted in a lapse until 1913,when the Foundation was officially incorporated in the state of New York. Since its inception theRockefeller Foundation has given more than $2 billion to thousands of grantees worldwide and hasassisted directly in the training of nearly 13,000 Rockefeller Foundation Fellows...."

From an article about Rockefeller and UFO's: "By the 1920s John D. Rockefeller, the founder of theRockefeller dynasty, was funding the notorious "racial hygiene" think tank Eugenics Records Office. Itsideas of mass sterilization, the 'inferiority' of Black people and "breeding better humans" directlyinfluenced Adolf Hitler and provided 'scientific legitimacy' for the Nazi race laws...." [8]

John Davison Rockefeller, Jr., (1874-1960) was the only son and heir of John D. Rockefeller, Sr. ... After

graduating from Brown University in 1897, he worked in family enterprises. In New York City hefinanced the Rockefeller Center .... By donating land in New York City, Rockefeller was instrumental inthe decision to locate the United Nations headquarters in the United States. Riverside Church in NewYork City was built through his gifts. Rockefeller had one daughter, Abby (born 1903), and five sons:John D. III, Nelson, Laurance, Winthrop, and David. [9]

The General Education Board started by John D. Rockefeller Sr. in 1902-- "In Raymond Fosdick'smemorial history of the Board, he indicates that it was part of John D. Rockefeller Jr's effort toward "thisgoal of social control." [as cited in Research Manual: America 2000/Goals 2000, p. 54] The RockefellerFoundation History also states: 1923...John D. Rockefeller, Jr., creates the International Education Boardin 1923 with $20 million to promote education abroad, a parallel effort to the U.S. General EducationBoard."

The RF History also adds this important information about the activities of the Rockefellers: ."..TheAmerican Council of Learned Societies, which from the beginning derived most of its support from theGeneral Education Board and then from RF, receives the first of many additional grants to supportfellowships in humanistic studies....Beginning in 1933 and extending for more than 20 years, RF expends$1.5 million in identifying and assisting 300 scientists and scholars from Nazi Germany to settle infriendly locations; many relocate to U.S. universities. 1936...Raymond B. In 1962 Edith Roosevelt, writing about the "Universal Theocratic State" stated, "Curriculum is beingdrafted to indoctrinate our children in what "John D. Rockefeller Jr. calls 'the church of all people.'...Plansare being made to set up regional World Universities whose objectives would include 'to instruct in all

UNESCO 11-- The first director -general of UNESCO (1946-48) was Sir Julian Huxley, an ardentdefender of Darwin's evolution, and who wrote the 1948, "UNESCO: Its Purpose and Its Philosophy.""The general philosophy of UNESCO should be a scientific world humanism, global in extent andevolutionary in background...its education program it can stress the ultimate need for world political unity

and familiarize all peoples with the implications of the transfer of full sovereignty from separate nationsto a world organization...Political unification in some sort of world government will be required...Tasksfor the media division of UNESCO (will be) to promote the growth of a common outlook shared by allnations and cultures...to help the emergence of a single world culture....Even though it is quite true thatany radical eugenic policy will be for many years politically and psychologically impossible, it will beimportant for UNESCO to see that the eugenic problem is examined with the greatest care, and that thepublic mind is informed of the issues at stake so that much that now is unthinkable may at least becomethinkable." 12

John D. Rockefeller III (1906-78) Graduated from Princeton University in 1929 and served on the boards

of several family philanthropies. Rockefeller endowed the India International Center and the AsiaSociety. Nelson Aldrich Rockefeller (1908-79) ... Graduated from Dartmouth College in 1930 and, after workingin various branches of family business, entered public service. Rockefeller held numerous federal posts, including under secretary of state (1944), head of the International Development Advisory Board (1950-52), and under secretary of the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare (1953-55). He was electedgovernor of New York in 1958 and reelected in 1962, 1966, and 1970. Rockefeller unsuccessfully sought

the Republican presidential nomination three times (1960, 1964, and 1968). In 1974 Rockefeller wassworn in as vice-president under President Gerald Ford and served until the term ended in 1977. 18Participated in the founding of the United Nations.

While unknown to many, Robert Welch, founder of the John Birch Society, was helped by the sale of hisbrother's Candy Company to Rockefeller owned National Biscuit Company, which for many wouldappear to be in direct opposition to the JBS goals. Robert, with some of his original candy recipes, hadjoined James Welch after his own candy business shut down.

In the obituary of James O. Welch, published February 1, 1985 by the New York Times, it was stated:"...He founded his candy company in 1927 in Cambridge, Mass. Over the years the company producedsuch popular brands as Junior Mints and Milk Duds.

In 1963 the National Biscuit Company, now Nabisco Brands Inc., bought Mr. Welch's company. Mr.Welch was a director of Nabisco from 1963 until his retirement in 1978. His son, James O. Welch Jr., ofShort Hills, N.J., is president of Nabisco.

...An older brother, Robert H. W. Welch Jr., founder of the John Birch Society, died Jan. 6. " [James O_Welch Dies at 79; Founder of Candy Company - New York Timeshttp://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9406E7DA133BF932A35751C0A963948260]

    From another source:

".... To enable Robert Welch, a 32nd degree Mason, to devote all of his time to the John Birch Society,

Nelson Rockefeller purchased his family firm, the Welch Candy Company, from him at a most handsomeprice. Welch chose the principal officers of the John Birch Society from his acquaintances at the Councilon Foreign Relations..." 19

In the article My 'One-Minute' Membership In the John Birch Society, the following information, concerning the buyout of the Welch Candy Company is related:

".... In the August 1965 edition of Capsule News, Morris Bealle (now deceased) laid it bare. He wrote:

Robert Welch (and his brother Jimmy) received a tremendous payoff from the House of Rockefeller twoyears ago, for organizing the John Birch Society and sitting on the communist lid for the past seven years. The total pay-off was $10,800,000, less the value of the family candy company, which is reputed to be

    maybe $100,000 or $200,000.

On October 1, 1963, Rockefeller's National Biscuit Company announced the "purchase" of the James O.Welch Candy Company of Cambridge, Massachusetts.

In Moody's Manual of Industrials, and in Standard-and-Poor's Business Index, NBC gave the allegedpurchase price as "200,000 shares of National Biscuit common stock." According to The Wall StreetJournal for Oct. 1, 1963, NBC common stock was selling for $54 a share on the New York StockExchange.

    6/16

Today it is selling for $58. Thus the Welch brothers were given $10,800,000 just like that."

Candy people say the whole family business, with plants and five sales offices, [was] hardly worth$200,000. Welch will tell those dopes who will believe him mat National Biscuit is not a Rockefellerconcern.

Again, Moody's Manual will trip him up. It lists as two of the directors the names of Roy E. Tomlinsonand Don. G. Mitchell. [Both are] members of the Council on Foreign Relations. Further, they are a pair ofRockefeller's "professional directors." Tomlinson is also a director of their Prudential Life and AmericanSugar Refining.

It was American Sugar that was directly concerned with the financing and embargoing into the hands ofCommunist Russia of Cuba in 1959. They made the deal with Castro, which ended freedom on the islandof Cuba and made possible those Havana missile bases designed to wipe out American eastern seaboardcities.

It also appears that the Rock Mob financed and promoted the organization of the John Birch Society. How

else could it have gotten millions of dollars worth of newspaper publicity by the phony "attacks" onWelch that came with dramatic suddenness.

And, for the record, in more recent years, famed populist historian Eustace Mullins, author of The FederalReserve Conspiracy, The World Order and other classics, has said publicly-more than once-that hisresearch led him to the conclusion that the Birch Society was indeed a creation of the Rockefeller empire, based on precisely the same data that led Bealle to reach his assessment. So Bealle was not standingalone, by any means, in making these allegations..." end quote[http://www.barnesreview.org/John_birch.htm]

In 1962 , Nelson wrote, "The Future of Federalism" which claims that current events demand a "newworld order." He stated that there is: "A fever of nationalism...but the nation-state is becoming less and

less competent to perform its international political tasks...These are some of the reasons pressing us tolead vigorously toward the true building of a new world order...Sooner perhaps than we mayrealize...there will evolve the bases for a federal structure of the free world."

Nelson developed the CIAA, which was his own version of the CIA, and which had intelligence oversightof the South American continent. He used what ever political and social networks that were available toachieve his goals, using the intelligence community to advantage. His lust for wealth propelled him todesire control over every aspect of the continent. He planned major highways spanning the Amazonjungle, building dams, lakes, ranches, incorporating drilling and mining and reaping what belonged to theNative population. With Nelson's endorsement, the governments of South America were manipulated andmanaged extensively by the CIA, to benefit not only Rockefeller, but the US desire for global wealth andcontrol against "communism." [Thy Will Be Done] His ventures have impacted not only the native

peoples but devastated the environment, which comes in sharp contrast to his brothers Laurence's andDavid's environmental ventures, which supposedly are to protect the environment.Laurance Spelman Rockefeller (born 1910) ... After graduating from Princeton University in 1932, heworked in business and participated in the founding of Eastern Airlines. ... He served on the boards of theAmerican Conservation Association and the Citizens Advisory Committee on Environmental Quality. 20He provided seed money for companies such as Intel Corporation and Apple Computers. Heestablishment conservation organizations such as The Conservation Foundation and AmericanConservation Association, Inc. and participated on the boards of the National Geographic Society,

Laurence controls the stock of Readers Digest, which, "...By 1980, two-thirds of Reader's Digest stockwas transferred to seven charities controlled by Laurence. The Fund for the Hudson Highlands received475,000 shares of stock, vastly undervalued at $30 per share at the time....The Rockefeller charities

profited. The gift of 588,424 shares to the Metropolitan Museum of Art "would come to be worth a vastfortune ...the greatest gift ever given... to any cultural institution in the world,...In January1990, HudsonHighlands received $51,693,290 from the sale of Reader's Digest stock, and in May 1991 $48,128,000.With their $322,822,000 worth of remaining Reader's Digest holdings, their total wealth from Lila andDeWitt Wallace, according to Canning, amounts to $422,000,000." 21 David Rockefeller is chairman ofthe Metropolitan Museum of Art

".... By the late 1960s [Laurence] he moved closer to an environmentalist position. He was one of themost influential individuals in America to make that journey, from conservation to a mutedenvironmentalism. He had the capacity to put his money into that journey, to educate teachers, politicians, and policy analysts. ... LSR was, by the 1990s, willing to at least consider the possibility of life in outerspace, to consider the efficacy of holistic and alternative medicines, to consider the implications of

biocentrism, to consider a trajectory ... away from business and organized religion entirely. As heremarked, he remained open to influence....In turn, LSR was an influence himself: on the international aswell as national park movement, on outdoor recreation, national beautification, historical preservation, and on what constitutes the public good. Through his interventions and his generally well-placedinsertions of seed money he reshaped the hotel industry, promoted better zoos and more extensivegreenways, and raised expectations and performance on the part of travelers, conservationists, andenvironmentalists..."22

His wife, Mary French Rockefeller, worked for years on behalf of the YWCA. She joined the YWCA'snational board in 1951 and served until she became a member of its Board of Trustees in 1988. 23 Shewas also a trustee of Spelman College and the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

Dr. Harold Ockenga helped found Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary 24 in 1969 and was Presidentof it and Gordon College from 1969-1985. "The Conwell School of Theology and Gordon DivinitySchool merged in 1969 through the efforts of philanthropist J. Howard Pew, Dr. Harold J. Ockenga andDr. Billy Graham...Dr. Ockenga, the long-time pastor of Boston's historic Park Street Church, became thenew institution's first president. Dr. Ockenga retired in 1979 but maintained an active emeritusrelationship with the school and served as member of the Board of Trustees until his death in 1985"

Dr. Billy Graham is Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Trustees. Harold Ockenga was a co-founder ofFuller Theological Seminary, who, along with J. Edwin Orr, was also Co-Founder of the NationalAssociation of Evangelicals in 1942. He served as President of both the National Association ofEvangelicals and the World Evangelical Fellowship, which are merely the national and worldorganizations of the same thing.

The CIA's mind control experiments under the Human Ecology Fund were replaced by groups such as theHuman Potential Foundation funded by Laurence Rockefeller. Laurence also funds UFO research. In1999 the New York Daily News ran a report about Laurence's UFO funding. "Michael Luckman, directorof the New York Center for UFO Research, says the Rockefeller report entitled 'The Best AvailableEvidence,' "features testimony from former military officials and astronauts that contradicts Air Forcedenials of an alien landing." 25

Laurence has funded "Dr. John Mack, the Harvard psychiatrist famous for his book on so-called 'alienabductions'."

"Greens and Greys [Linking Alien Presence to Environmentalism] "... intelligences of the highest powerare absolutely appalled that this one species is so out of control, so insensitive to the living ecosystem ofthe earth..." -- Dr. John Mack, Harvard Psychiatrist....Mack's bridge between UFOs and ecology is

evident in a recent book of articles compiled by the Sierra Club. Entitled Ecopsychology, Mack asks:"How do we invent a new psychology of our relationship to the earth?"

Critics accuse Mack of founding a new religion in the "green politics" of the aliens. His response that he"cannot help it if this is the communication coming through,"....Laurence Rockefeller also funds theGreen Earth Foundation headed by Terence McKenna. McKenna scouts the globe collecting psychoactiveplants, which he is permitted to cultivate in Hawaii. One of McKenna's theories is that psychoactivesubstances used by native cultures in religious ceremonies induce telepathic links with alien cultures. Hebelieves the patriarchal "dominator" cultures of the past few thousand years have failed us and the earth, and calls for an "archaic revival", which requires a return to humanity's last "sane" moment 15,000 yearsago on the plains of Africa "rocked in the cradle of the great horned mushroom goddess."

Human Potential Foundation [Global Mind - Change Potential] The Human Potential Foundation (HPF),founded by U.S. Senator Claiborne Pell and based in Falls Church, Virginia, is another project fundedprimarily by Laurence Rockefeller.

According to Dick Farley, who worked for the organisation for about three years, Rockefeller's interest inHPF seemed to be the promotion of "alternative religious and psychiatric/psychological paradigms, including so-called 'UFOs' and 'abductions,' having 'Global Mind Change' potentials. Rockefeller putmore than $700,000 through the 'HPF' from 1991 to 1994, as Common Cause Magazine recentlyreported." 26

The Complementary & Alternative Medicine Program At Stanford (CAMPS) 27 program at Stanfordsports a ying/yang symbol. It's database project is worth noting.

"CAMPS Database Project: CAMPS in conjunction with Vicus.com, Inc. will launch a subscription-onlydatabase that will house citations, abstracts and articles that were donated in 1997 by Esalen Institute co-founder Michael Murphy and Laurence Rockefeller...." 28

The Rockefellers supported Esalen and it's "Esalen Soviet-American Exchange Program." Esalen isinvolved in paraspychology, self-actualization, self-hypnosis, with similar techniques of manipulation andmind-control as Tavistock. Esalen's activities include psychological manipulation to solve politicalproblems. 29

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), incorporated on July 29, 1921, is the American counterpart toBritain's Royal Institute of International Affairs (RIIA). David has been a director from 1949-85,chairman of the board 1970-85, vice president 1950-70. The Rockefeller Group is a corporate member.

The Trilateral Commission was founded in 1973 by David Rockefeller with Zbigniew Brzezinski asexecutive director, after Brzezinski published Between Two Ages, which became the blueprint for theTC. David read and appreciated his ideas, which included,

"Though Stalinism may have been a needless tragedy for both the Russian people and communism as anideal, there is the intellectually tantalizing possibility that for the world at large it was, as we shall see, ablessing in disguise."

"Marxism represents a further vital and creative stage in the maturing of man's universal vision. Marxismis simultaneously a victory of the external man over the inner, passive man and a victory of reason overbelief."

"Such a society would be dominated by an elite whose claim to political power would rest on allegedlysuperior scientific know-how. Unhindered by the restraints of traditional liberal values, this elite wouldnot hesitate to achieve its political ends by the latest modern techniques for influencing public behaviorand keeping society under close surveillance and control."

"The Soviet Union could have emerged as the standard-bearer of this century's most influential system ofthought and as the social model for resolving the key dilemmas facing modern man." 33

1973 founding members of the Trilateral Commission also included Jimmy Carter, who chose ZbigniewBrzezinski as his National Security Adviser during his presidency. Brzezinski, also a member of the CFR,wrote in his Power & Principle: Memoirs of the National Security Advisor, 1977-1981, on page 49, "Thenew President's specific views on foreign affairs--going beyond his desire for a foreign policy governedby humane and moral concerns--had been formed during his time with the Trilateral Commission.Contrary to the myth, the Trilateral Commission is not a conspiracy designed to dominate the world butgenuinely strives to engage Americans, Western Europeans and Japanese in a common endeavor to shapea more cooperative world..."

On page 289, he wrote, '"Moreover, all the key foreign policy decision-makers of the CarterAdministration had previously served in the Trilateral Commission...."

Speaking at the Sept. 23, 1994 United Nations Ambassadors' dinner, David Rockefeller remarked,

"This present window of opportunity, during which a truly peaceful and interdependent world ordermight be built, will not be open for too long." "We are on the verge of a global transformation. All weneed is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order." 38

David Rockefeller was the connection and influence to the Earth Charter and Maurice Strong of Canada.

In 1972 Strong was Secretary General of the first Earth Summit in Stockholm. This led to the creation ofthe United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) 40 in 1972. Strong was UNEP's first Exec. Director. At the same time Strong served as the Director of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature(IUCN).41 The IUCN was accredited by the UN in 1946 to become its "scientific advisor" and was madeup of various government scientists. Within the IUCN, the EPA, USFWS (who administers The USEndangered Species Act), Nat. Park Service, US Forest Service, and Nat. Ocean and Atmosphere Adm.huddle behind closed doors with the Sierra Club, National Audubon, National Wildlife Federation, NatureConservancy, Natural Resources Defense Council, Environ. Defense Fund, etc. to plan and implementthis global agenda and the new global ethics from above and below. The IUCN wrote the Convention onBiodiversity 42 and created the pantheistic pseudoscience called "conservation biology" to "prove" earth'secosystems were being mortally wounded by human use. The IUCN also founded the World WildlifeFund for Nature (WWF) and the World Resources Institute (WRI) which pass the banner back and fourth

in developing and promoting treaties and agreements ... " 43

Steven C. Rockefeller, Chair, the UN's Earth Charter 44 International Drafting Committee. The EarthSummit held in Rio de Janeiro in 1992, began drafting the Earth Charter. Rockefeller Liberalism

2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if yereceive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, yemight well bear with him.

Although reportedly coming from Baptist roots, the Rockefellers were liberal in their theology, and were

sympathetic to "higher criticism" of the Bible, replacing faith with an acceptance of modern sciencesversions and interpretation of history, creation and so on. As seen by their grants to all manner ofecumenicalism and occultism, saying one is "Christian" does not mean one is. Being Baptist was and isnot an indicator one is a "Christian" by any way, shape or means.

For example, The American Baptist Publication Society, in 1919 published "The New World Order" bySamuel Zane Batten.

In it, Batten declares, "...the new world rises upon our vision....We have vindicated the right of socialcontrol....There must be developed a national spirit of service....The natural resources of the nation mustbe socialized...The state must socialize every group...Men must learn to have world patriotism. Worldpatriotism must be a faith....There is no more justice for the claim of absolute sovereignty on the part of a

nation than on the part of an individual....The only alternative is World Federation...with a worldparliament, an international court, and an international policy force...Men must have an international mindbefore there can be a world federation. They must see and affirm that above the nation is humanity.Internationalism must first be a religion before it can be a reality and a system." 46

An avid supporter of the Northern Baptist Convention and missions, liberal theology changed theacceptance of [John D. Rockefeller] Juniors funding by some. Many, however, chose to move into liberaland "modernist" theology, including those the Rockefellers entrusted their investments and philanthropiesto. According to Colby and Dennett, originally 'fundamentalist' they were replaced by liberals, such as"lawyer Raymond Fosdick and his brother Rev. Harry Emerson Fosdick, the liberal theologian."Raymond Fosdick was President of the Rockefeller Foundation from 1936-1948.

John D. Rockefeller Jr. provided the funds for the building of New York's Riverside Church 47,considered one of the ten largest churches in the World. The Rev. Dr. Harry Emerson Fosdick, was Seniorpastor from 1930 - 1946. Their information states:

" We are an interdenominational, interracial, & international congregation." "The Riverside Church seeksto be a community of faith. Its members are united in the worship of God known in Jesus, the Christ, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The mission of The Riverside Church is to serve God throughword and witness; to treat all human beings as sisters and brothers; and to foster responsible stewardshipof all Gods creation.

    Galatians 1:8-10

"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we havepreached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach anyother gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, orGod? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ."
