EXPERIENCE
AMADA R&D Inc. ASI – Senior Application Developer: (Object Oriented Design and development) Jul 2011 – Dec 2015
DailyJournal (Java Spring MVC, Java/J2EE framework):
Developed a schedule manager which allows the employee to set goals and to record day to day tasks that sync with the cloud which monitors the work hours and the productivity of the employee.
Sheet Designer – BlankCAM (Oct 11 - Dec 13):
Involved in the development of CAD/CAM application for sheet metal processing Laser machines.
Developed various full-stack Windows applications using C++ for backend and C#.net for the frontend.
WeldCAM (Jan 13 - Dec 15): An automation software for CAM that aids during welding processes
Three dimensional rendering of various geometrical shapes and objects using API kernels in a viewer using C# to create a visualization of welding process that takes place on factory work floor.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Library Management System (Angular.js, NodeJS, Express, JavaScript, PostgreSQL) Summer 2016
Designed & developed a web-based library management application which runs on Node platform using Express framework having PostgreSQL as database with waterline adapter (ORM for Node.js) and Angular for front.
Pacman AI (Python, IDE: PyCharm) Fall 2016
Created an AI for Pacman which can avoid ghosts and eat the food pellets using Inference and Observation, maze solving and getting a high score through advanced heuristics and various search algorithms such as A*, Expectimax, minimax, alpha-beta pruning in python.
Activity Recommendation System based on Weather Prediction (Spark Streaming, Machine Learning) Fall 2016
Developed an Activity Recommendation System that predicts the best leisure activity at a given place and date based on the weather conditions such as temperature, precipitation, pressure using various Big data technologies.
Evaluated and implemented various Machine Learning algorithms (Java, IDE: Eclipse) Summer 2016
Derived powerful classifiers and inferred imperfect decision trees using Ada-Boosting and ID3 algorithms.
Client - Server communication using Sockets and Multithreading (Java, IDE: Eclipse) Spring 2016
Developed a java application, which allows clients to exchange messages among them using sockets via a server that supports multiple clients by enhancing synchronization through semaphores.
Implementation of shortest path algorithms (Java, IDE: Eclipse) Spring 2016
Shortest path from a single source can be found by using any of the following 4 algorithms: Breadth First Search traversal, Topological ordering of Directed Acyclic Graph, Dijkstra's and Bellman-Ford algorithms.
These four algorithms are implemented and appropriate efficient algorithm is chosen for optimality.
Database Engine (Java, IDE: Eclipse) Summer 2016
Developed a database engine that is loosely based on SQLite which supports various DDL and DML commands such as Insert, Create, Update, Drop, Select (without joins) and Show.
