Water-�lled landscapeUp to 70 per cent of the rainwater thatfalls across this project ischannelled down to the waterway, withthe help of special design featuresunder PUB’s Active, Beautiful, CleanWaters programme. Rain gardens andvegetated swales - marshy areasof land - fill up temporarily with waterwhen it rains, becoming ponds, beforedraining the water down. Dry pathways also turn into streams,for added water features.
