Allah is Great Allah is Great And to Him belongs all PraisesAnd to Him belongs all Praises


Allaahu Akbar – ka-bee-raAllaahu Akbar – ka-bee-raWal-Wal-HHamd-du-lil-laa-hi katsii-raamd-du-lil-laa-hi katsii-ra

Allah is the Greatest Allah is the Greatest And to Him belongs Much PraisesAnd to Him belongs Much Praises


Wa-sub-Wa-sub-HHaa-nallaahi aa-nallaahi buk-ra-tan wa- a -buk-ra-tan wa- a -swswee-laee-la

And glory be to Allah, And glory be to Allah, in every evening and morningin every evening and morning


Laa-ilaa-ha- il-lallaa- hu waH-dahSwa-da-qa-wa’ –dah

There is no god, except Allah, UniqueThere is no god, except Allah, UniqueHe has fulfilled His PromiseHe has fulfilled His Promise


Wa-na-swo-ra - ‘ab-dahWa- a- ‘az - za – jun-dah

and made Victorious His servant and made Mighty His soldiers


Wa- ha-za-mal – aH-zaa ba waH-dah

and by His Unique (Power)He defeated the confederates,


Laa-ilaa-ha- il-lallaahWa-laa – na’ – bu-du-

il-laa –iy-yaah

There is no god, except Allah, There is no god, except Allah, And we worship (serve) none other (as God)

except Him


Mukh-li-swee-na – lahud- deenWa-lau- ka-ri-hal kaa –fi-ruun

with sincere and exclusive devotion even though the unbelievers hate it


Laa ilaa-ha – il-lAllahAllaahu Akbar Allaahu Akbar

there is no God, but AllahAllah is Great Allah is Great


Allaahu Akbar Allaahu Akbar Wa-lil-laa-hil-Wa-lil-laa-hil-HHamdamd

Allah is Great Allah is Great And to Him belongs all PraisesAnd to Him belongs all Praises


Allaa-humma swal-li- ‘ala sayyidi-na Muhammadwa ‘ala – aa-lie sayyidi-na Muhammad

O Allah, have Mercy on our Prophet Muhammadand on the family of our Prophet Muhammad


wa -‘ala as-Haabie sayyidi-na Muhammadwa-’ ala -an-swaa-ri sayyidi-na Muhammad

and on the companions of our Prophet Muhammadand on the helpers of our Prophet Muhammad


wa – sal-lim tas-lee-man ka-thee-ra

and Bestow upon them much peace.



MEANING OF BEING MEANING OF BEING SUCCESSFUL AS BELIEVERSSUCCESSFUL AS BELIEVERS

LESSON FROM THE QUR’AN


““Certainly will the believers have succeeded:Certainly will the believers have succeeded:

They who are They who are KHAASHI-’UNKHAASHI-’UN [during their] [during their]

SWOLAHSWOLAH [prayer, humbly submissive]” [prayer, humbly submissive]”

((Qur’an: Mu’minun: 23: 1-2Qur’an: Mu’minun: 23: 1-2))


“And they who turn away from ill speech –

LAGHW (i.e. all that which is frivolous)”

(Qur’an: Mu’minun: 23: 3)


““and who are observant of and who are observant of ZAKAHZAKAH -[i.e. are intent -[i.e. are intent

on matters of inner purity and growth];”on matters of inner purity and growth];”

“whereas such as seek to go beyond that [limit] -TAGHA,

those are truly the transgressors;”

“and who guard (maintain) their SWOLAH – [prayers from

all worldly intent].,”

(Qur’an: Mu’minun: 23: 9)


““It is they, they who shall be the inheritors that will inherit It is they, they who shall be the inheritors that will inherit

the paradise; [and] therein shall they abide eternally.” the paradise; [and] therein shall they abide eternally.”

(Qur’an: Mu’minun: 23: 10-11)

O our Lord! Make us to benefit from what You have O our Lord! Make us to benefit from what You have

taught us.taught us.

O Lord! Teach us whatever that is beneficial for us.


O Allah! Make us to be people who guide (others) O Allah! Make us to be people who guide (others)

and who are (always) Guided (by Your Guidance) .and who are (always) Guided (by Your Guidance) .


Not of those who are astray and Not of those who are astray and

who lead people astray.who lead people astray.


O Allah! Guide us all O Allah! Guide us all

with Your Guidance.with Your Guidance.


And make us people who hasten And make us people who hasten

towards what pleases You.towards what pleases You.


And do not let us be protected (by others) except And do not let us be protected (by others) except

only with Your Protection (as our Guardian).only with Your Protection (as our Guardian).


And do not make us to be of those who differ And do not make us to be of those who differ

from Your command and who are disobedient from Your command and who are disobedient

towards You.towards You.


And sufficient is Allah for us, And sufficient is Allah for us,

for He is the Best Protectorfor He is the Best Protector


And there is no power nor strength except And there is no power nor strength except

with Allah The Most High, the Most Esteem.with Allah The Most High, the Most Esteem.

““(May) Allah grant His Reward upon Muhammad, salutations (May) Allah grant His Reward upon Muhammad, salutations

of Allah and Peace be upon him and his family, in accordance of Allah and Peace be upon him and his family, in accordance

with what he deserves (in Allah’s knowledge & estimation).”with what he deserves (in Allah’s knowledge & estimation).”

”Glory to thy Lord the Lord, of Honour and Power! (He is free)

from what they ascribe (to Him)! And Peace on the

Messengers! And praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the

Worlds.”

(Qur’an : Saffat: 37 : 180-182)
