Info on slope• Slope describes the steepness, incline, and decline of a

line.

• Slope is normally described by the ratio of the "rise" divided by the "run" between two points on a line

• The slope m of the line through thepoints (x1, y1) and (x 2, y 2) is given by

M= y2-y1 x2-x1

We found real life examples outside of different types of slope around the school, took

pictures of a few, then uploaded the pictures to the computer.
