Tim Burton

Tim Burton is an american film director aged 55. He is married to the actress Helena Bonham Carter, he is best known for Edward Scissorhands and Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. He is also known well for working closely and frequently with Johnny Depp.

Tim Burton became famous from Batman in 1989. He was 31 when he directed the film which starred Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson. The screen play was written by Warren Skaaren and the film one an academy award for best production design.

Tim Burton has a very specific style to filming. His films are often quite gothic and dark although there is always a happy part to them. His films are very indie in the way in which they use a variety of colors and fascinating makeup which makes them incredible to watch.

Tim Burton has a very close relationship with Johnny Depp an extremely famous actor. They have worked together on multiple films such as Tim Burtons Corpse Bride, Sleepy Hollow, Alice and wonderland, Sweeney Todd and multiple other films.

Tim Burtons Style of film has really inspired me because of his gothic horror genre which really intrigues me.

Tim Burton has also made some short films such as Frankenweenie (1984) about a young boy who creates movies starring his dog. Vincent (1982) is another one of Burtons short films, it is a horror film about a boy who does experiments on his dog.
