The SmartPlane is the world’s first smartphone-controlled miniature airplane and defines a whole new market.

The SmartPlane is ultra light, and thanks to its slow flying speed, it is designed specifically for indoor &outdoor areas. The pilot controls the SmartPlane intuitively with the smartphone held in their palm. The SmartPlane responds to hand movements of the pilot in real-time. Tilt, turn and increase the throttle - it cannot get any simpler! With Touch & Go there is no pairing, no waiting! Simply open the SmartPlane app, touch the plane with your phone, and you are connected within seconds.

The special manufactured wings enable the plane to fly extremely slow, allowing it to fly everywhere.

Thanks to the fully proportional rudder, steering is highly precise, offering a unique flight experience.

3. Cockpit ScreenThe realistic app cockpit allows the SmartPlane to be controlled with only one hand. Hold the smartphone in either the left or right hand and put your thumb on the sliding throttle lever in the middle of the lower half of the screen. Through tilting the phone to the left and right, the SmartPlane is steered; the altitude and speed are controlled by swiping up and down on the sliding throttle lever. Additionally, the horizon orientation, battery status and signal strength add to the cockpit experience. By pressing the control tower icon in the top left-hand corner, realistic control tower radio communication is activated.

2. Radar Screen

1. Pre-flight screen

The radar screen appears when the SmartPlane app is opened. After opening the app, simply hold the smartphone near the airplane. Thanks to Touch & Go, connection is automatically established. After just a few seconds you are ready to fly.

After purchasing the SmartPlane, an automatic pre-flight calibration is necessary in order to load the newest flight data and settings on to the airplane. Following the download of the SmartPlane app from the App Store, simply open the app and hold the phone close to the airplane; the app will automatically connect itself and the pre-flight settings are implemented. After just a few minutes, you’re ready for take-off. The pre-flight calibra-tion is only necessary once, prior to the very first flight of the SmartPlane.
