To ensure data security, our in-house data wipe machines permanently remove data from hard

drives by performing a 3-pass data wipe to Department of Defense (DoD) standards.

Hard Drive Shredding

Smith shreds drives, recycles the remains and provides certification. Hard drive shredding provides

you with a way to safely dispose of your IT assets when remarketing is not an option.

Smith’s in-house AMS-HD Series Shredder provides 1 1/2" shred width and is designed to

physically destroy hard drives, backup tapes, DVD's and assorted e-waste.

We partner with M&K who is EPA compliant. Any scrap

material is re-purposed rather than sent to landfills.

• On-site personnel available to assist with collecting products

• Any collected hard drives will be securely wiped or shredded.
