Up gradation of 10.1.3.1 to 10.1.3.3 SOA Server

1. Pre-installation Steps

Apply below patches on the environment before upgrading it to 10.1.3.5.

2. 6880880 (101000) – Must OPatch for upgradation

3. 6370967

4. 8555288

Run below scripts on database:

/stage/soa_schema_upgrade/bpel/scripts/upgrade_10131_10135_oracle.sql

Run the above script as orabpel user

/stage/soa_schema_upgrade/esb/sql/other/upgrade_10131_10135_oracle.sqlRun the above script as oraesb user

Restart the instances.

Restart DB and SOA Suite.

Ensure the following values are set in the $ORACLE_HOME/owsm/bin/install.properties file:

install.http.host=ETNAIA

install.http.port=7777

Ensure the OC4J instances are running. You can check the status using the following

command:

Perform a Complete Backup

Taken a cold backup of AS @ /stage/backup/SOA101350

Enable PHP

Use the comment character (#) to comment the following PHP 4.0 directive:

#LoadModule php4_module libexec/libphp4.so

#AddModule mod_php4.c could not find in the file

Add the following PHP 5.0 LoadModule directive:

LoadModule php5_module libexec/libphp5.so

AddModule mod_php5.c

Comment the following AddType directives:

Uncomment the following AddType directives:

Save and close the httpd.conf file.

Set the PHPRC environment variable to point to the php5.ini file:

Change JDBC factoryClass in BPEL Connection Pool

Edit the data-sources.xml file to change the JDBC factoryClass parameter from oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver

to oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource for the BPELPM_CONNECTION_POOL parameter.
