was started. Soon the environment was moved to its pace with the joint co-operations of all the inmates of Aamar Ghar. The presence of Director Sir accelerated the event a new boost .A few while later Ms. Yugabrata Dutta also joined the event.

Soon after the end of the Bhagawat Path , it started the felicitation ceremony in the Hall. In brief some of the most important messages to we participants were conveyed in the speech delivered by Yugabrata Dutta. In her speech, Ms. Yugabrata Dutta says that students should apart from carrying out their projects like the one they have been carrying should also go forward to let their young stars know what is a value system. They should teach their next generations how to give proper respect to their senior ones. Youths have responsibilities toward them. Critical in depth insight to the reality revels that only hardly 30% of world populations have a keen relationship with their old parents.

She also says that mere feeding is not enough. It is of utmost importance to feel them, to devote some times from ones busy schedule towards their parents. Every one is making his or her journey towards the end of the path. Loneliness is something what kills every hope .She mentions that the borders In “Amar ghar” is not because they don’t have family but they don’t have someone to spend time with. Old one needs some care, some moments of love , they expect someone also to understands them but the reality is that expectation gives more pain to them. Their son or daughters don’t have spare time to think about even themselves. Today’s competitive environments compelled to force their grand sons or daughters to be engaged with other activities after school time. There are many who even don’t know what is a grand mother or grand father. Human being needs accompany, it needs mental encouragements. In future we wish that you the youth of this generation would think about

it. You all have to think not only for the old aged people but the society is having many more issues. Being a leader should not be the end yield of you. On 18th of December we celebrate the day of “Jatiya Chetona” however this can not expect it without the effort of the youth. Youths are the nation’s hope .Youth’s standing would mean nations prosperous. You have to encourage people to help people who are in need, you have to increase resources.

In the event our director Sri Shantikam Hazarika also delivered a very crisp and short speech .He says that AIM as an institute is one who is offering a 2 year PGDBM programme which is a very complex as well as a multidisciplinary education system .AIM students are very successful in not only in Assam but all over the country.

With initiatives from the AIM participants like the activity they are conducting here we believe that our participants are becoming more and more responsible to the society and its issues.AIM believes education is fruitful only while it finds its utility in society. Education should be given in this way only. AIM believes it is very important to carry this kind of activities along with class room teachings where our students get to know their responsibilities to their societies. He winds up his speech by asking to bless the students so that they can be not just leaders but responsible citizen of the country.

A Book of patriotic songs named “Pragatir Gaan ”by late Sri Umesh Baishya was donated to the library of the old age home. A Fast Aid Box was also donated to the old age home. More colour was added to the event with very beautiful songs by Sri Tarun Baruah, Sri Prafulla Kalita , Sri Junmoni Sharma. Sri Neelabhra pratim Borah of 2nd year PGDBM participants also made the event even more joy full. At 1.30 p.m after lunch we started our journey to Balaji Mandir and from there it was moved to Sradhanjali kanan Park , Zoo Road.

The day came to an end at about 5.30 p.m. with a small tea break at Aamar Ghar after returning to Amar Ghar after visiting the above mentioned
