Influence on Society

Instagram's rising popularity symbolizes the trend in social media from print to visual media.

The use of Instagram by celebrities is becoming widely popular. Their influence of simply "sharing" a photo of something political etc. can have a great influence on the celebrity’s followers, simply by that act of sharing rather than actually doing something to support a cause or fully understanding it at all.
