The first step is to identify latent issues. Hitachi's NEXPERIENCE systematizes co-creation methodologies for discovering latent issues in complex business processes.After working with a customer to identify issues, Hitachi uses AI and other technologies to develop a hypothesis for solving those problems. Based on the hypothesis, a prototype of a solution is created, and its efficacy and feasibility is verified by using the Lumada Competency Center or by other means.With Lumada, you can take advantage of these services and various other services that facilitate the smooth co-creation of digital solutions.

Compiled as Lumada customer cases, solutions, and applications, Hitachi's industry-specific expertise and business process knowledge can be applied in various fields through co-creation with customers.When working on a new co-creation project with a customer, Hitachi builds a customized solution, using the Lumada solutions and applications as its building blocks. Of the customer cases that have proven results in various industries, those that can be applied to address the customer's particular management problems are also incorporated. Applying existing customer cases to new problems allows us to accelerate the development of the digital solutions that create value.

With Lumada Solution Hub, needed features such as an applica-tion development environment and Lumada solutions can be packaged and registered in an easy-to-install package. Lumada Solution Hub can then provide such packages in a cloud environ-ment.With Lumada Solution Hub, business solutions and the application development environment, which are packaged in an easy-to-re-use format, are registered and stored, and presented in a catalog that can be perused at a glance. From the catalog, you can select the items you want to install. The environment is then built easily in IaaS* in a multi-cloud environment, and the provided features can be used quickly. As a result, the solutions developed through

co-creation with customers can be moved quickly from early verification to the production environment, and can be efficiently deployed to multiple sites including overseas sites.In addition to the Hitachi solutions currently provided in the Lumada Solution Hub catalog, we also plan to register solutions developed by our partners.Using solutions from the catalog accelerates the creation, distribu-tion, and use of digital solutions, and promotes the building of the Lumada ecosystem.
