Some birds are bold and easy to spot, other are hard to spot, but easy to hear! Close your eyes and listen to their song or sit quietly and watch out for birds… Our fine feathered friends help maintain the balance of nature. When you keep a record of just what birds flutter by your window, you begin to understand how that balance works. Why not set a few minutes aside each day to keep track of which birds (and how many) call your house "home sweet home"? Make sure there is a water source available then sit back and enjoy the show, making sure to take notes on what you see and when you see it. Birding in your backyard Use your bird watching skills to spot these feathered friends. Look for movement and listen for bird songs.
