Terms & ConditionsFinal numbers & balance of payment:Final numbers are to be given 7 days prior to your event. Final payment will be made at this time. This will be the minimum number charged for in full for food & beverages for the event. In case of beverages on consumption, a minimum of $2000.00 will be payable at this time with the balance payable at the end of the event.

Cancellation:In case of cancellation, the deposit | full pre-payment is non-refundable

Delivery:All goods must be clearley labelled with function name and date. Wedding functions 1-3 days prior, Corporate functions day of event.

Pick up of goods:Post-event goods must be taken at the end of the function as there is no storage space at The Summit. If goods are left, The Summit will not be liable for loss or damage.

Cleaning:Normal cleaning is included however a charge of $400.00 will be applied if steam cleaning of the carpet is required post function.

Cleland National Park:As The Summit Restaurant Cafe & Function Centre is located within the Cleland National Park, confetti, rice, table scatters, petals & smoke machines loud music outside are prohibited.

Fire alarm:No smoking inside. Smoking outside ok. If the fire alarm is set off during the function, a fee of $500.00 will be charged to the credit card supplied by the contact person for the event.

Responsibility/Damages:The client is financially responsible for any damage to the property, equipment or persons during and after the function. The Summit and it’s staff shall not be liable for any injury, damage or loss of any nature (whether a result of negligence or not) suffered by the client or the client’s guests.

It is against the law to serve alcohol to a person whom we believe to be intoxicated. It is against the law for a patron to buy or supply alcohol to another person who is intoxicated. It is the clients responsibility to advise us of anyone under 18 years of age.
