DESCRIPTION:

The Maintenance and Stormwater Management Division completed repairs to the South George Mason

Drive Pedestrian Bridge during the second half of FY 2013. The bridge hand rails were sanded, primed

and painted for long term finish. A concrete epoxy was also used to make repairs to the concrete deck

and piers to extend the life of the bridge as well as a deck finish was applied. The bridge maintenance

was completed with support of the Mason District Supervisors Office and the Virginia Department of

Transportation.
