ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES: SKRECC DEADLINE: MARCH 29 ,2012

• Eligibility limited to a Full Time high school senior whose principalresidence is an active account of South Kentucky RECC.• Each applicant must submit an essay about "Why Energy Efficiencyand Conservation is Important." This essay should be between 350,500words and should be submitted before the school's deadline. Each school'swinner will be decided by a committee from South Kentucky RECC.• The winning essays will become property of South Kentucky RECC forunlimited promotional use.• The $1,000.00 scholarships are paid directly to the accredited edu-cational institution of the student's choice upon enrollment. Availability islimited to a two-year period.• Winning students should attend and be recognized at the South Ken,tucky RECC Annual Meeting to be held on June 5,2012. Winning studentsneed to be available for promotional pictures.• South Kentucky RECC employees, directors, or anyone receiving di-rect benefits from the cooperative, and members of their immediate families,are ineligible for the South Kentucky RECC Scholarship Program.• Students already receiving full college scholarships are not eligible dueto these funds being used specifically for tuition.• This is an equal opportunity program.
