INTERLOCUTOR: In this part of the test, Im going to give each of you two photographs. I’d like you to talk about the photographs on your own for about a minute, and also to answer a short question about your partner’s photograph.

1. COMPARING PHOTOS. GENERAL IDEAS THE PHOTOS SHOW

IN THE FIRST PHOTO I can see a girl who looks as if she is chatting on the internet WHEREAS/WHILE IN THE SECOND PHOTO two old people are sitting together on a park bench and gossiping/laughting.

2. WHAT ARE THE PEOPLE DOING?

WHILE the girl SEEMS TO BE concentrating hard, PERHAPS/PROBABLY because she is writing, THE OLD PEOPLE SEEM TO BE RELAXING AND ENJOYING THEMSELVES. I THINK THIS IS BECAUSE THEY ARE TOGETHER AND CAN SEE EACH OTHER.

3. WHAT DO PEOPLE THINK?

I think the girl MIGHT BE talking/ IT LOOKS AS IF SHE is alking to a friend about school work or boyfriends. ON THE OHER HAND, the old people are talking about their grandchildren or about the things they did when they were children.
