The 2009 BK Offensive Line was led by seniors - Mike Major (Left-Tackle), John Saint (Center) , Louis Beauregard (Right Tackle/Noseguard), Davis Walton (Tight End) – helped give way to the rushing, passing and receiving aspects of the game. The team went on to score 402 points – 2nd most in school history.

The 2009 BK Defenseive Line was led by seniors – Louis Beauregard (a 3-year-2-way starter), Ian Black (Defensive Tackle), Tate Byers (Safety), Jack Clark (Defensive Tackle), Alex Doll (Cornerback), Conner Kach (Linebacker), Chance Lyster (cornerback), Jon Nuding (Linebacker), Justin Turner (Defensive Outside Linebacker), and Ray Wolber (Safety), The Def allowed only 126 points – 11th best in school history.

Season StartsThe undefeated #1 ranked Bishop Kelley Comets had a perfect regular season and a 1st round win to go 11-0 before losing to Carl Albert 31-34 (2OT) in the 2nd round of the playoffs. This is only the 2nd time in BK's 50 years that the Comets have gone undefeated in the regular season.  In 1980, BK ran the table as well, going 10-0.  The win also gave the Comets the outright District 5A-3 title.
