WHEREAS, the term has expired for the Ward 3 representative, leaving a vacancy for that seat;and

WHEREAS, Mr. David Veal of Ward 3, after evaluation of his qualifications, has beennominated by the Mayor to fill this vacancy;

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the Mayor's appointment of David Veal to the JacksonRedevelopment Authority Board be confirmed with said term to expire August 13,2025.

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees ofthe Jackson Public School District has submitted acertifiedcopyof its Order formally requesting an ad valoremtax levy and officiallyapproving thefiscal year 2019-2020 budget; and

WHEREAS, it is necessaryto adoptan advaloremtax levy sufficientto fund saidbudget;
