Automation of SM functions
➢ SMS4DC: software designed by ITU based on ITU recommendations
➢ SMS4DC covers terrestrial fixed, mobile, sound and television broadcasting services in the bands above 30 MHz, including GE-06 as well as frequency coordination of Earth stations
➢ Users from over 40 administrations all over the world.
➢ All pacific countries have acquired license
➢ Regional activities include provides support
➢ Technical training, refresher courses
➢ Developing and incorporating Higher resolution DEM on demand
➢ Development of software to include outcomes of WRCs
