Post Office Box 1253, Station Main, Kamloops, British Columbia, V2C 6H3 www.gkma.ca December 16, 2015 Hello my name is Barry Rokosh I am the vice president and director of cross country racing for the Greater Kamloops Motorcycle Association (GKMA). As a cross country director I will be assembling a team of GKMA members to organize the Big Kahuna Cross Country Race at Whispering Pines Motocross track on Easter weekend, March 26, 27 2016. The event will be round #1 of the Pacific North West Motorcycle Association (PNWMA) BC Off Road Series (BCORS). This race series is attended by working-class families and average citizens, who race motorcycles, which typically are most of your company’s customer base. The racers typically come from all over the province and bring their family and camp for the entire weekend. The GKMA’s goal for this race is to have prizes and a monetary purse in place to pay back riders that finish in the top ten of Master’s class (pro) and top five of each other class. This type of payout is long overdue in the sport of off-road racing. We are looking for outside support for funding in exchange for promotional and advertising purposes. Our plan is to start the 2016 season off with the best ever Big Kahuna race. A new tradition of awarding an overall race winner trophy will be started this year and continue on in years to come with this same trophy. Our plan is to have an entire weekend (Saturday and Sunday) of events that will be fun for the whole family and attract people from within the city of Kamloops and all areas of the province. It is our intention to hopefully partner with local radio and TV to promote this event prior to, and hopefully during, the event. It would be really great to get a spot on the CF JC evening news or midday show. We have various levels of sponsorship available each with different levels of promotion. We hope that your company will be a partner in this event and we look forward to working with you in the future. Please make all submissions and requests to my contact information, and not the GKMA address at bottom of page. Thank you.
