I would like to welcome you to St. Pius X High School and another great year of sports and activities. You will find that our people are warm, welcoming and enthusiastic about what is going on here on campus and in the community. We have a wonderful, dedicated staff, which looks forward to putting the absolute best product on the field, court, or stage for your enjoyment.
While we all put a great amount of time and effort into trying to win, we know that winning isn’t the only reason we play. We play to help our students learn the important life lessons that participation in sports and activities provide.
During your time here at St. Pius X be sure to let us know what we can do to make your visit a pleasant one. Remember to cheer responsibly for your favorite team.
Thank you and “Go Warriors”.

Dear St. Pius X Supporters and Visitors,
On behalf of the faculty and staff at St. Pius X High School, let me welcome you to our school and one of our athletic events. This Sports and Activities Program is a wonderful effort on the part of our Warrior Pride Booster Club to give recognition to our student athletes, activity members, their coaches and sponsors. Also, in this program are business ads from our Booster Club members. Please patronize these businesses whenever possible.
Since its beginning in 1956, St. Pius X High School has been proud of its athletic teams and activity programs and we have been fortunate to win many state and local trophies. However, the focus in our athletic department cannot be on just the victories, the banners, and the trophies; it must also be on the instruction of young men and women in the essentials of their sport and in good sportsmanship — all within the context of a Catholic school education.
Good luck to all athletes who are participating and may the Lord watch over each of you.
Thank you for supporting the St. Pius X Warriors!

The Warriors are excited to be playing on their new turf field this year! The Team will be a little young as the season starts, but we have many talented guys that played a lot of downs last season. The Offensive Line and Defensive Secondary will be the strong areas for the team. The O-Line consists of Charlie Gengler, Charlie Palmentere, Frankie Cheritto, Peter Perlik, and Michael Koll, along with Michael Granado, and Rainaldo Ambiz who also play on the line.
In the secondary we have Jack Mosh, David Deters, Robbie Sharp, and Vince Cox. Other guys that get time there are Dominic Bjork, John Caime, Killian Beck, and Karter Much. Linebackers Anthony Ross, Carl Ragusa, Aidan Coons, and Peter Perlik are also a huge part of the Defense.

In 2017, St. Pius X embarked on a $7 million capital campaign to build a new Athletic Complex and renovate the former convent on campus. The campaign has been successful with over $6 million raised. The convent renovation is complete and the Athletic Complex is in use by students. The Athletic Complex is located less than a mile from the school’s main campus and includes a track, baseball field, softball field, tennis courts, and cross country trails. Additional projects at the site will continue as funds are raised, including additional parking; a multi-purpose building with restrooms, concession stand and storage; and field lighting. Bishop Johnston presided over a Blessing & Dedication of the Athletic Complex on March 29, 2019.
In addition to our new Athletic Complex, major renovation have begun at Msgr Wogan Stadium. The newly renovated football/soccer stadium will have a turf field and new bleachers this year. Also completed during this first phase of construction is all new perimeter fencing and a new parking lot layout. Future plans include a building with team dressing rooms, concession stand and restrooms.
We are grateful to all of our wonderful donors, supporters, volunteers and prayer warriors who have made these projects a reality for our spxkc.org students and future Warriors
