The burden of cancer in Arkansas can be dramatically reduced if evidence-based
practices in prevention, treatment and survivorship care are made available to all
Arkansans.
As a sponsor at the “Progress” level, you join the coalition and its partners during
the 20th Arkansas Cancer Summit in reflecting on the work that has been done over
the past 20 years.
Partners:
It takes an army of dedicated people to fight cancer. The Arkansas Cancer Plan pro-
vides a mandate for healthcare providers, advocates, caregivers and every Arkansan
to work on prevention, screening, detection, treatment, research and survivorship in
order to eliminate the burden of cancer in Arkansas.
Support our partners as they share and learn new ways to reach the masses by con-
tributing at the “Partners” level for the 20th Arkansas Cancer Summit.
Possibilities
Despite our challenges, the future presents many different opportunities for Arkansas.
From increasing opportunities for early detection to using genomics to identify poten-
tial cancers that might occur in families, we can reduce the cancer burden within the
state.

The battle against cancer is one of the most difficult journeys that anyone can endure.
Together, we want to pause, remember and honor those who have gone through this
battle.
