MAX ASHLEY GRADUATED

IN 2012 AND IS NOW

WORKING AS A FULL-TIME

COACH FOR CHELSEA FC.

HE HAS RECENTLY BEEN

NOMINATED FOR FA YOUNG

COACH OF THE YEAR

FOR HIS WORK WITH

DISABLED FOOTBALL.

“The programme at Sparsholt

taught me many valuable things for

a sporting career which has helped

to open up several opportunities.

I decided the coaching route was

best for me after the College set up

as an FA ‘Mars Just Play’ Centre.

This gave me the chance to work

with teenage students with

learning difficulties. This provided

valuable experience and inspired

me to complete the FA ‘Coaching

Disabled Footballers’ course.”

“The work experience unit gave me

two weeks work experience with

Swindon Town FC and helped me

make the decision to go into

football coaching and I use things

I learned at college every day.

Sparsholt College gave me every

support to start my football

coaching career at Chelsea FC

Foundation, and I would

recommend what I did to any

aspiring coaches.”
