Applications are now available for the 2010 ETC and national FRED Schol-arships. The $500 ETC Scholarship is awarded annually to one graduating senior

Each year, ETC also sponsors four local high school seniors for the FRED (the Foundation for Rural Education and Development) Scholarship, awarded to rural America's best and brightest students. FRED Scholarships range from $1,000 to $5,000 and awarded to over 50 students across America annually. FRED applica-tions are due to ETC (Attn: Anita Fledderman) by January 26th,2010. Applications for both the ETC and FRED Scholarships areavailable at your local high school guidance office, or online at www.etczone.com. You can also pick one up at any ETC office.

For a vehicle to run at optimum performance, proper maintenance is required. From oil changes to tire pressure checks and tune-ups, proper care helps to ensure a smooth, reliable ride. 2009 Batesville Holiday Parade

The holiday season is always an exciting time of year, as we look forward to the first snow, the time we have to spend with friends and family, the arrival of a new year, and of course, all of the exciting events that take place in our communities. The staff at ETC is always eager to get involved during the holidays. The 2009 Batesville Holiday Parade, which took place on Saturday, November 21st, 2009, brought out a good crowd, and so did we! We came out in bells and whistles, filling our truck with smiling faces and Santa hats. We also partnered with the Brookville Main Street committee and Main Source Bank to bring Santa to our Brookville office on Friday, December 18th, to meet the kids and promote the community toy drive. Thanks to everyone who came out to participate in the community this past holiday season, and we will look forward to seeing you all out again in 2010!
