SUNDAY CLASSES FOR ADULTSBegining April 23 we will be offering new classes that can prepare you for a summer and a lifetime of fresh (renewed) living. - OVERFLOW! A Life Refreshed by Generosity” Overflow is based on Proverbs 11:25: “A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.” We’ve all experienced moments of refreshment, fleeting experiences that give new strength and energy. After the moments fade, we’re back to the daily grind. But a life refreshed? That’s a different story. What if we could enter each day reinvigorated by life’s adventure? God gives us the secret to energy, strength and joy. It’s life to the full, receiving the blessings and gifts of God and pouring them into others. It’s overflow – a life refreshed by generosity! Led by Pastor Scott and the Deacons of FRC.
- MAKING GOD A PRIORITYIf you struggle to maintain a set apart time alone with God, do not give up. Join others for 7 classes on Making God a Priority where you will be encouraged to spend quality time with the Lord…His Desire...Your joy. This class will focus on the book “Secrets of the Secret Place” by Bob Sorge. Topics will include Saying Yes, The Shut Door, Listening, Radical Obedience, Rapid Repentance, Sowing and Refuge. Led by Susanne Elenbaas.
- A.W. TOWZER ON PRAYER
Our third class offering is a class led by Steve Rouse. After a brief break for the Easter season to focus on the Resurrection of Jesus, they will be returning to their study on Prayer based on A.W. Tozer’s book. This class will continue through mid-May.
FAITH@PRAYER will now be meeting in the Sanctuary on Wednesdays from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.
KEYS TO FREEDOM MINISTRIES, the local jail ministry, is holding a volunteer introduction and training. MEDIA/TECH TEAM NEEDS YOU! Do you notice details, such as mood & ambience, during Sunday service? Do you enjoy playing with buttons and sliders? Are you a kinesthetic learner, who prefers to “keep busy” when taking in information? Then this ministry may be perfect for you! We’re looking for at least 8 people (4 camera & 4 lighting) who are willing to serve one Sunday a month. Training is provided! Contact Stephanie Wesley for more info at [email protected]
You are invited to join us for coffee & cookies in the Fellowship Hall after each service.
UPCOMING EVENTS AND NEWS
Welcome to worship at Faith Reformed Church. Worship is granting to God the honor and praise He alone deserves. It is our hope that, combined together, all the elements of our services do just that. We want to provide a meaningful and engaging experience for everyone who attends our services. In an effort to meet the needs of all ages, we have a fully staffed Nursery (ages 0-3) and Kids Club (ages 3-4) available for children during both our 9:00 am and 11:15 am services.
We value children and their presence in worship is important to us. If you choose to have your children accompany you in the Sanctuary, we have “quiet bags” available downstairs in the Children’s Ministry Check-In area. These bags are filled with all sorts of fun and creative goodies to keep younger ones occupied during the worship service.
Today’s service is available on CD and DVD in the Narthex. If you wish, you can view the service video on our website. Go to www.frctc.org/online media to see what resources are currently available.
If you are visiting with us today, we have a gift bag for you at the Information Center!

Worship in Living Color - Colors have been used for hundreds of years to add an additional layer of meaning to the experience of worship. Traditionally, the red of Palm Sunday has spoken of Christ’s kingship and foretells of the spilling of His blood; the black of Maunday Thursday -- sin and separation; the white and gold of Easter --purity, completeness, joy, and ultimate value. These colors will be around you this up coming Holy Week. Take note and may your Holy Week worship be blessed.
